2009 After Christmas Party!

This year's after christmas party
will be held Saturday, January 31st, 12:30 PM at the
J. Taylor Auto Collection
in Huntington.
We thought that, since it has been several years since we
held a meeting in the Huntington area, we should consider traveling
there this year. The owner of the J. Taylor Auto Collection has offered us
the building to hold our meeting and, from the brochure I have, this
looks like a neat place. This museum is one of the only public auto
museums in West Virginia and the collection of old cars should be
appreciated by most all the membership. I’m sure someone will give
us a guided tour of the cars on display. We can have a short meeting,
take the tour, spend some time looking at neat old cars, and then at
1:30 PM, take a short walk up the street is the Central City Café. This
restaurant was a featured on the Food Channel last year. They are
known for their home cooking and a good selection of homemade soups
and deserts. If you want an adult beverage with your meal, you need to
bring it brown bag style. Mark you calendar! Come out for a
good time and spend a few hours with folks who like cars, but really do
prefer to drive a BMW. I'll bet old Uncle Dave shows up and buys everyone
lunch.

take exit 6, to Adams Avenue, turn left on 14th Street West.
